Pest Control Technician
Starting Pay: $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience

Overview of Pest Control Technician Responsibilities
Our Pest Control Technician is responsible for delivering pest management and consulting services to customers on an assigned route. The ability to work independently, and as part of a team is essential. DRIVING ROUTES include a company vehicle, EZPass, and fuel card. WALKING ROUTES include an unlimited MTA Metrocard will be provided.
Work Schedule
We have day schedules Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday; the start time can vary between 6 AM and 9 AM depending on the day.
Day in The Life of Pest Control Technicians
- Manage an assigned pest control route
- Follows daily route schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each client site
- Discusses scope of services provided with customers before leaving client site
- Recommends the most efficient pest solutions to meet customer needs
- Provides customers with consistent, top-notch service to meet needs
- Takes advantage of opportunities to promote and sell company services
- Works cooperatively with all coworkers, customers, partners, and vendors
- Is available to work some weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
- Promptly updates the PestPac Mobile platform after each service performed
- Provides daily detailed reports on services provided to clients as required
Qualifications for Pest Control Technicians
- High School diploma or equivalent, college a plus
- Have or be able to pass tests to acquire NYSDEC Certifications in 7A, 7F
- NYS driver's license (IF driving route)
- Friendly, outgoing, professional demeanor, and appearance
- Experience in field/route sales/service, restaurant, food service/food manufacturing, or other related background would be a plus
- Experience in pest management would be a plus but is not required
